The 'Group and select checkboxes' jQuery plugin allows developers to group checkboxes together and allow users to select a range of checkboxes while pressing a designated key.

Developers can customize the key that needs to be pressed, and the plugin assures this behavior works for checkboxes grouped inside tables, lists, DIVs and SPANs.

Example: In a group of 10 checkboxes, selecting the first checkboxes and then clicking the 9th checkbox while holding down ALT will select all the checkboxes in-between those two.
